The New Pay Equity Law in Massachusetts (Benefits and Compliance) and Salary Negotiation

At this event we learned about the new Massachusetts Pay Equity Act, which took effect on July 1, 2018. We discussed the new provisions of our state's equal pay law, including what employers can and cannot do when hiring, and potential affirmative defense to liability if the employer has conducted a self-evaluation of its pay practices.
