BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST, Office of the Vice President for Finance (VPF), to work with business partners in VPF and across departments, labs, and centers, (DLCs) to align technology solutions with business strategies related to Institute financial operations. Will be responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, maintenance, and support of MIT’s Buy-to-Pay (B2P) which is built on the Coupa platform. Duties will include gathering, analyzing, and communicating moderately complex business requirements and processes; performing testing; developing and maintaining documentation; troubleshooting issues related to assigned business processes, systems, or projects; and juggling multiple small-to-medium-sized projects.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, accounting, or related field; at least five years of experience in supplier management, procurement, accounts payable, or other financial operations; solid knowledge of one or more modules of the Coupa system (e.g., procurement, accounts payable), Coupa administration, or similar buy-to-pay system; business analysis experience; strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency; experience providing superior customer service; tact and diplomacy with sensitive matters; comfort managing multiple deadlines with minimal supervision; and adaptability, flexibility, and ability to reprioritize workload as necessary. Must also be able to analyze and synthesize information in a concise manner and make recommendations to resolve issues; prepare reports and give presentations; interact with individuals at various levels at the Institute; and build relationships with key constituents within VPF and in the broader MIT community. PREFERRED: higher education experience, business analysis training, understanding of traditional (waterfall) project management methodology and/or agile methodology, and familiarity with Smartsheet.
Salary range: $80,000 - 95,000
