Sue Gorman, President, New England School of Acupuncture
After serving as interim president since 2011, Susan L. Gorman became the sixth president of the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) on March 6, 2012. Previously, she served as NESA’s Executive Dean and Chief Operating Officer, where she was responsible for the School’s non-academic functions.
Before coming to NESA, President Gorman was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Catherine Hinds Companies. Under her leadership, the school was twice awarded the Schools of Distinction Award during re-accreditation periods with the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Prior to her embarking on a career in academia, she managed the internal accounting systems of several small start-up companies and led an initial public offering.
Gorman's other professional activities include: Financial Executives International (FEI), incoming President of Boston Chapter; Treasurer's Club of Boston; Member, Board of Visitors, Forsyth Institute; Former Member, Board of Vistors, Fenway Community Health Center; Former Member, Board of Overseers, Newton-Wellesley Hospital; Former Board Member, Girls Incorporated of Lynn; Former Vice Chairman of the Bentley Executive Club, Bentley University; Member, 2007 Presidential Search Committee, Bentley University; and Former Member, Advisory Board, Women's Leadership Institute, Bentley University.
In 2008 President Gorman was awarded the Alumni Leadership Award, Bentley University.
Victoria Nessen Kohlasch, Founder and President, NK&A
Victoria has been igniting brand momentum and helping companies meet their strategic growth goals for more than 22 years. As the dynamic founder of NK&A, she turns creativity, energy and business know-how into marketing success stories for small and mid-sized companies across industries. Known for her unbridled enthusiasm as well as her ability to problem-solve in the moment, Victoria has earned a reputation as a sales and marketing dynamo who makes good things happen.
Prior to NK&A, Victoria built brand presence for Reebok International, Clarks Company and CRIC Capital. A true Bostonian, Victoria has served on the board of the YWCA of Greater Boston as well as advisory boards of two New England organizations dedicated to advancing the integration of people with disabilities.
Widely known for her caffeine-free energy, Victoria can be found in the wee hours of the morning running the streets of Lexington, consuming TED videos or elbow-deep in her garden. If you’re up, stop by; even at 4:30 a.m. she enjoys the company of others.
Donna Walsh, Financial Advisor, AXA Advisors
Donna Walsh is a Financial Professional with Highland Financial Group in Wellesley. She joined the Group in 2013 prior to that she was an Advisor with Merrill Lynch. She has been in the Financial Services Industry for 6 years helping professionals, families and business owners with their investment strategies and financial, estate and retirement planning solutions. Donna was also Treasurer for Cumberland Farms/Gulf for over 15 years handling the company’s investments, budgeting, cash management and lending requirements. Donna graduated from Suffolk University with a MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She received the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation. Donna is Treasurer of the Boston Women in Finance Group, she is also an active member of the Norfolk & Plymouth Estate Business Council, Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Franklin Country Club.
Roberta Zysman, CEO, Dedham Medical Associates
Ms. Zysman has extensive experience as a health care executive. Prior to joining Dedham Medical Associates, Ms. Zysman was the executive director and Chief Operating Officer of Beth Israel Deaconess Physician Organization, LLC (BIDPO). In this role, Ms. Zysman directed strategic planning, policy development, and financial and medical management planning and operations. She led their work which resulted in the selection by Medicare of BIDPO as one of only 32 Pioneer Accountable Care Organizations nationally. Ms. Zysman has also worked with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care as the director of hospital relations and provider network services, where she managed hospital network relations.
Ms. Zysman is currently the president of the board of directors of the Health Care Financial Management Association, Massachusetts-Rhode Island Chapter. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education from Boston University. She is a resident of Canton, Massachusetts.
