In this interactive, live session, Boston Women in Finance and Dr. Lisa K. Desai, Psy.D., Chief Behavioral Health Officer, MindWise Innovations, will discuss the changing face of leadership in today’s turbulent environment, and how women are poised to excel in this climate. We will discuss: 

  • The ever-changing balance of demands, and how this affects women leaders
  • The impact of stress, including good, manageable, and toxic.
  • How to integrate care and empathy into our work to drive measurable results
  • How to foster wellness and self-care through a framework of safety, predictability, and control

Attendees will leave with a series of actionable, immediate strategies to implement for both themselves and their teams.

About Our Speaker:

Lisa K. Desai, Psy.D.
Chief Behavioral Health Officer, MindWise Innovations

Dr. Desai has over 25 years of clinical and administrative experience across delivery systems in college counseling, community mental health, hospitals, and private practice. In her role at MindWise, Dr. Desai leads the development and implementation of behavioral health programs for workplaces and communities, with the goal of building psychologically-safe environments and reaching at-risk and underserved populations. She oversees the MindWise behavioral health screening platform, and regularly consults with partners across various sectors. 

Dr. Desai is committed to understanding and addressing specific, contemporary behavioral health needs and working collaboratively to expand access to resources. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and is fluent in Gujarati.
