About Our Speakers:
Anna Karpovsky, Assistant Professor of Practice Boston College, Carroll School of Management
Professor Karpovsky earned her B.A. in Economics and M.A. in Computer Science from Boston University. She has Ph.D. in Business from Bentley University. Her research focuses on strategic issues in the context of Information Systems and her current interests are in business analytics, FinTech and digital health.
Alison McArdle, Director of Compliance Fidelity Digital Assets
Alison McArdle is a Director of Compliance for Fidelity Digital AssetsSM, which provides enterprise-grade digital asset solutions for institutional investors. Ms. McArdle joined Fidelity Digital AssetsSM in April 2017, and supports the business development and product functions, and among other compliance programs, is responsible for governance, privacy, and registration and licensing.
Previously, Ms. McArdle was a Director of Compliance for Fidelity Charitable®, an independent public charity that sponsors a national donor-advised fund program. Ms. McArdle joined Fidelity Charitable in 2007 and was responsible for Fidelity Charitable’s compliance with federal and state laws governing charities and charitable giving. Ms. McArdle had responsibility for Fidelity Charitable’s international grant making, fraud mitigation, Office of Foreign Asset Control, anti-money laundering, and digital asset donation program.
Ms. McArdle earned her B.A. from Colby College and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
