One of the most important skills a professional can have is the ability to smoothly manage career transitions in life, those that are planned or unexpected. Whether it’s to move into a new skillset or higher level within your organization, move out in pursuit of another role, or to change career paths altogether, the ability to effectively plan your transition can help ensure success down the road.

Join Boston Women in Finance on October 15th for an interesting and engaging program focused on ‘New Roles, Careers, and Life Stages: Transition Planning for Success,’ where our panel of transition experts will help you prepare and build the skillset necessary to plan and execute your next transition more effectively.

Some areas we will discuss are as follows:

  • Why career transitions can help boost your career, as well as those around you
  • The best time to consider a transition
  • How to prepare yourself and your organization for your next transition, including timing, resources necessary, training up of current personnel, etc.
  • What are some important factors to consider before, during and after a transition

Registration is $15 for BWF members, and $30 for non-members. Lunch is included as part of your registration. For more information about this event, please contact the BWF team at info@bostonwomeninfinance.org.
